Once asbestos has been safely removed, it is disposed of at a licensed asbestos waste transfer station. A waste consignment certificate will be issued following the disposal to show that the asbestos waste has been taken to a licensed facility so that the client or property owner has fully proved and discharged their liability under the asbestos regulatios and to keep on file in their Asbestos Register or for the property records.
